Sanna Åbonde, SUGAR® certified/licensed, HMA – Holistic Medicine for Addiction specialist, Recovery coach & Body Consciousness practitioner, with my own experience in sugar/food addiction. I noticed early in life (3 1/2 years) that I loved sugar, and that I didn’t eat like others, I stole, hid, sneaked, and had a hard time focusing on anything other than when I was going to eat sugar again. I have always ”known” that something was wrong with me and that my willpower was not enough, as I saw in others. The right fuel mix for my brain paired with tools to deal with the addictionbrain became my way to recovery.
I utilize ketogenic nutritional therapy services to help people improve their mental health and functioning. I have worked with many children, teens, and adults of all ages who suffered from mental health conditions such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and/or ADD/ADHD.

I assess thoroughly with the standard interview (discussion/questions), intentional blood & urine chemistry analyses in some cases, use of collateral history if appropriate. Often assessment reveals limited pathology and a plan to prevent disease and reduce risk can be utilized. I use pharmaceuticals sparingly but do believe they have a role in helping some people get and stay well. I believe that the foundation of wellness is adequate nutrition and support anyone I work with that is willing to engage in this way in changing the ways they eat. I think a lot of what appears as mental health disease will be resolved with changing what we eat and what remains is often much more treatable with interventions like supplements, herbs, or pharmaceuticals. As often as I can, I make use of genetics to help guide patients on their path to wellness. See website for some (limited) additional information. I am also available for brief consults to determine if I am the right fit for your needs.

I treat neurologic disorders (neurodegenerative disorders as Alzheimer’s, parkinsonian syndromes, MS, etc.) and other mental symptoms (loss of energy, long Covid, brain fog, etc.) with multimodal approach, based on metabolic and functional neurology (including neuro-hormonal assessment and treatment). The metabolic approach is based on a well-formulated ketogenic diet (with BHB monitoring) and fixing the frequent vitamin & mineral insufficiencies (e.g. FAD, methyl and adenosylcobalamin, MTHF, CoQ10, selenium and zinc, etc.). Finally, lifestyle interventions are most of the time required (sun and light exposure, cold exposure, sleep management, etc.).
I treat psychiatric disorders and other mental symptoms mainly with a double approach, based on metabolic and functional psychiatry, and on mindfulness. Finally, lifestyle interventions are most of the time required (sun and light exposure, sleep management, etc.).
We are a functional medicine practice that specializes in helping patients improve metabolic and mental health using low carbohydrate/ketogenic diets as well as other lifestyle and mindset strategies. We work with patients both one on one and in group programs. However, for one-on-one care you must live in either Missouri or Kansas.
I offer a variety of specialized online services for individuals, families, and clinicians including hourly nutrition consultations, collaborative clinical care for Massachusetts residents, clinician-to-clinician curbside consultations, and trainings for health professionals interested in learning how to use ketogenic diets and other special nutritional strategies to augment the care of people with psychiatric conditions.

Barry Erdman, LCSW, DCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and diplomate of clinical social work in private practice in Boulder Colorado, providing outpatient psychotherapy with adults, couples and families since 1979. His expertise focuses on ethical care treating the whole person, drawing on an eclectic therapeutic tool set, spanning conventional community mental health care practices to creative alternative treatment modalities, including mind/body pain management, family therapy, Eastern Buddhist and Hindu practices, clinical hypnosis, and nutrient rich ketogenic diets to support mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.
I believe that mental health conditions are not fundamentally different (in many ways) from other chronic illnesses, such as diabetes, and heart disease. I believe that personalised nutritional and lifestyle therapy may be successfully applied to persons with health goals around improving mental health. Causes and drivers of mental health issues generally need to be elucidated by testing and may arise from poor nutrition, poor digestion, toxins in food, environment/food sensitivities, infections/pathogens and stress. I receive clients with goals around mental health with referral from a psychiatrist. Test results, test interpretations, interventions, and retest results when appropriate are shared with the referring psychiatrist.
I practice primarily under the cognitive-behavioral therapy "umbrella," including more recent mindfulness- and acceptance-based CBT approaches, as well as dialectical behavior therapy. I incorporate humanistic principles throughout. As physical functioning is related to mental and emotional functioning, I strongly encourage and support patients' establishing and maintaining a healthy food plan, regular physical activity, restorative sleep, social engagement, and other aspects of a healthy lifestyle. I can help patients identify and overcome logistical, environmental, emotional, cognitive, and other barriers to long-term physical and mental well-being. I am approved through PsyPact to see residents of participating states: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap.
I work in a boutique practice specializing in low carbohydrate diets. Most of my patients have the metabolic syndrome. I use Dr Westman's approach and aim to keep the diet simple. I offer a personal approach with email and phone support and a patient facebook group. I have been using ketogenic and low carbohydrate diets for 4 years and I am still amazed at the results I see on a daily basis. As Dr Westman says " So unbelievable, no-one believes it!"
I use a narrative approach to create a holistic treatment plan in partnership with patients based on their unique needs. Using an evidence-based approach, interventions place emphasis on lifestyle interventions, identifying personalized markers and working with and supporting patients to make interventions that feel and are possible.

Having suffered multiple concussions (traumatic brain injuries), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) over a 20 year period and living with Ehlers Danlos syndrome, I was grateful to discover the ketogenic diet in 2010. It has had a huge beneficial impact on both my mental and physical health, helping with emotional stability and relief from chronic pain. I now spend my time studying and researching the ketogenic diet for mental health, in order to both empathise and support others on their journeys. I hosted the Keto Brain Health Conference in Manchester in October 2024
I support clients on their wellness journey by nurturing their inherent potential to achieve optimal health and happiness by creating synergy with the mind, body, and spirit. My mind-body-spirit approach incorporates a variety of therapeutic modalities, which address the biopsychosocial, genetic, and energetic aspects of clients' overall sense of well-being. Education is a key component of my work, as my clients are motivated once they understand the role diet and lifestyle play in supporting mitochondria for peak body and brain performance. My goal is to provide clients with tools for self-care to enjoy optimal health and happiness for the rest of their lives.

I believe that eating low carb or paleo is healthy for (almost) everybody, but with insulin resistance the ketogenic metabolic therapy can help a lot of people with lots of different kinds of complaints or diseases.
A functional medicine, holistic approach is at the heart of my practice. I work with my clients to discover the root-cause of their symptoms. Where appropriate laboratory testing is available. I create a bespoke health plan for each client and gently guide and support them on their wellness journey to reach their full health potential. Alongside nutritional recommendations, I incorporate trauma release, stress management and emotional resilience coaching.
My LCHF credentials began in 2016 as an N=1 in order to assist my daughter who had been diagnosed with a serious mental illness. In coordination with health care professionals, I implemented the Ketogenic Diet as a dietary intervention to treat her condition which is now in full remission. Learning the mechanisms by which the Ketogenic LCHF lifestyle impacts metabolic health has allowed me to advocate, support and coach clients on their journey to better health. As a Certified Nutrition Network Advisor, my goal is to continue to share my experience with those that express interest in my knowledge base or inquire about the nutritional tools I utilize in applying the principles of a LCHF Ketogenic Lifestyle especially for mental health.
The ketogenic diet is a powerful tool used to correct metabolic dysfunction. Different ranges of ketosis can be used to treat various medical conditions and help titrate or eliminate medications. Working with clients to find practical solutions and creative ways to live a ketogenic lifestyle is my expertise.
We use a functional medicine approach to first deal with current symptoms and then proceed to determine root causes of health problems. Ketogenic diets have been successfully and safely used for over 100 years in epilepsy. Our brain is hungry for electrical power. It also needs to be built from high quality material. If we can't provide this power, or if the brain is unable to use it due to low quality building blocks, the brain malfunctions. Let's fix that together!
I support and empower individuals to take charge of their health and enhance their quality of life through holistic lifestyle changes, with a focus on the ketogenic diet as a metabolic therapy for mental health. Having personally experienced the profound positive effects of this diet on both mental and physical well-being, I believe it is the most important foundational change that can improve all aspects of health. Recognizing that the initial implementation of the ketogenic diet can be challenging, I have developed a proven comprehensive set of tools and best practices to support and enhance each person’s bio-individual success. I offer both individual and group coaching services designed to help you successfully adopt and maintain this transformative lifestyle in the long run. My goal is to help optimize the diet based on your unique needs and preferences, but also to equip you with the knowledge and resources to sustain the diet independently and with confidence.
I'm on a metabolic mission to help people elevate their health and regain the vitality we all deserve, one pleasurable nutrient rich, real, whole foods meal at a time. In my Favor Fat metabolic health and fitness practice, I counsel clients using an integrative approach, straight talk and sound, traditional healing practices. I believe that the root causes of metabolic and many mental health conditions lies within the toxic ingredients people are consuming and a lack of connection to nature and community. My book and podcast, The Nourishment Mindset, reflect the teachings and techniques I use in my practice.

I am an attachment based, trauma informed psychotherapist. I like to support people in becoming the most vital person they can be. This includes an integrative approach to treating mental health issues that is collaborative and person centered.
I use an existential, humanistic approach to treatment where the person in front of me knows themselves and their history better than anyone in the world, and I am there to understand, support, and help them figure out how to move forward. Everything that gets in the way of who and where they want to be deserves time, patience, curiosity, and humour to make sense of it all. I am most experienced in cognitive approaches to therapy, understanding how we think, identifying and deconstructing unhelpful beliefs, reinforcing our desire and ability to take control of our lives, and giving attention where it is needed.
Can provide remote consulting services. In-person medical services at Great Plains Family Medicine Residency to be under the direct care of resident physicians with Dr. Kennedye's supervision. His medical philosophy is to help you achieve your health goals your way. In his time as a doctor, he has found a few things to be true. First, most stuff gets better on its own. Second, if the bad stuff isn't getting better, remove the problem. When he realized how much good brain nutrition could help his patients, he looked to Dr. Ede for help. Because of Dr. Ede, family physicians like me can incorporate these amazing mental health treatments into our practices.

I use a functional medicine approach to psychiatry in which the first step is to look for physical root causes of symptoms. While those are being addressed I work with patient in individual psychotherapy to teach strategies and techniques for making lifestyle changes and ways to think differently to help reduce symptoms. I treat with medications but usually not as a first line approach. I will prescribe medications initially on occasion to calm down symptoms and buy time to address root causes. The end goal is to use minimal or no medications but rather to have the patient learn to control their symptoms through lifestyle changes so that they can function at their best possible level.
My practice consists of online services only in which I assist people as an educator and health coach to teach people how to use a ketogenic diet for mental health and neurological issues, leverage nutrigenomics, and explore functional health coaching to resolve any residual symptoms. I do not currently work with vegan populations. Individual psychotherapy sessions via telehealth in Washington state, where I am licensed, are very limited.
Think your nutrition has no effect on your mental health? Think again! Traditional medical interventions for mental health disease are ineffective at best, and harmful at worst. Research shows that there are profound impacts that nutrition has on mental health symptoms and there are short, non-invasive interventions that can completely resolve disease in as little as 2 hours! Gone are the days of years of therapy, medications, and suffering. You can heal, and you can heal effortlessly and quickly! Fire Team Whiskey offers short-term mental health and trauma resolutions that are based on the latest cutting-edge research and actually work!
Food is the most powerful medicine for the body. Questioning of stressful thoughts is the most powerful practice for the mind. One must have a healthy ego before one can grow beyond the confines of identification with ego. Psychotherapy must employ “shadow work” to be evolutionary. Using the most powerful tools to address body/mind problems will help us move naturally into spirit.
I prefer to work remotely or in person with those who have a psychiatrist who is doing the prescribing. I will assist in helping to lower carbohydrate intake as tolerated while monitoring improvement and addressing barriers to this life style. I will assist in providing guidance on the safe tapering and discontinuation of medications.

Four decades of chronic illness, severe oxalate toxicity, three decades practicing advanced bodywork, an engineering mind, and quadriplegia have informed me greatly. Since 2019 I have been living a mostly carnivore and low oxalate diet which has facilitated deep healing that doctors said was not possible with a spinal cord injury. Since 2021 I have been experiencing: improved sensation in my hands, improved diaphragm functioning, mood improvements, heart opening, spiritual deepening, reduction in thyroid meds and excitement about my life moving forward. I have studied directly with Georgia Ede, Mary Ruddick and Sally K Norton. When you work with me you get someone who’s willing to jump in the mud with you and be your guide.

Profession:
Health coach
Specialties:
Metabolic therapies for mental health, Ketogenic diet, Personal trainer, Women’s life support groups
Coach Bobbie gained her first exposure to helping others overcome their health challenges as a 12 year previous owner and head coach of a CrossFit gym. Then her hands-on experience was expanded when she needed to care for her son full-time due to his diagnosis of schizophrenia. Through this experience she was further inspired into additional training and a deeper understanding of how metabolic nutrition and lifestyle can dramatically and powerfully alter, and in some cases put into remission, even the most serious of mental illnesses. This journey has redefined her passion to now share metabolic therapy coupled with physical metabolic support and the awareness of nutrition on one’s physical and mental health, particularly for today’s woman.
Lifestyle change is both the most important and the most difficult, at least for many. I believe in meeting people where they are to help them take baby steps or giant leaps toward the life they envision for themselves.

As your mental health guide, I am here to listen, support, and empower you. You're not alone in this, and together, we'll rediscover the healing power within you.
If anxiety, depression, trauma and/or disordered eating are keeping you from living your life, we work together with you to help you identify and challenge unproductive behaviors, thoughts and emotions. Well-Supported Behavioral Health utilizes metabolic therapies for two primary purposes: the treatment of mental disorders and as an intervention for binge eating/food addiction. A therapeutic ketogenic diet is particularly useful for those with binge eating because in addition to creating healing processes in the brain vital to addictions treatment—ketogenic diets also provide those with binge eating disorder a "low exposure" food plan, free of trigger foods. While Katherine Tague, LPCA specializes in the treatment of emotional eating, food addiction, and related disorders, she also enjoys working with folks looking to use metabolic therapies more generally to aid in the relief of anxiety, depression, OCD and related conditions.
I'm an eclectic therapist who believe that there is never one story to healing yourself. I work with food and lifestyle as medicine as well as releasing emotional trauma with psychotherapeutic interventions.
Our ultimate goal is personalized therapeutic lifestyle modification to help manage and control illness progression. Our services are designed to provide you with the tools, guidance, and support you need to take control of your health and well-being.

For more than 30 years, people have come to me to solve chronic illness problems that have often plagued them for years. They’ve been to so many doctors, undergone so many tests, and still had no solution. My efforts almost always start with diet because, truly, food is medicine. The food typically available in our culture today simply does not have the amino acids, minerals, essential fatty acids, and other basic building blocks a body needs to maintain a healthy state. Most people I work with are able to get off all prescription medications. You can learn more about my practice at https://www.drlindawright.net and https://www.arizonarealhealth.net.
